Lion

This is a cat. Looking at said cat. I literally cannot think of a single thought to write down at this moment. Hmmm. That's odd.

This is actually a pretty sweet song. My dad recently got this CD for his birthday. It's quite nice, and has a bit of a folky-oldish sound to it. Also, if I ever find out how to post audio here than I have a guessing game. Be prepared.

The camera is found! :) But, it's still so gray and boring here that I can hardly find something interesting to photograph. On the topic, of cameras, I WANNA BE ABLE TO DO THIS. Fisheye lenses are sweet. Too bad that are roughly about a paycheck and a half for me working full time, and about five paychecks working what I am now. Some day though...

Much like the way I think of the aforementioned lens.

Avatar

"Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness that most frightens us. We ask ourselves, Who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, fabulous? Actually, who are you not to be? You are a child of God. Your playing small does not serve the world. There is nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won't feel insecure around you. We are all meant to shine, as children do. We were born to make manifest the glory of God that is within us. It's not just in some of us; it's in everyone. And as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others."

-My favorite quote ever.

Avatar was awesome. And the music is pretty sweet. This isn't the exact song I was looking for, but it's still cool.

Math 12 will be the death of me.

Not really, but it makes me really sad.
Crepes would make me feel better.

Instead of listening to songs, you know what is a waaaay better way of procrastinating? YOUTUBE.

Graduated!

We're finally graduated (and all the grad events are done)! And we're on top of the world for now :)

Therefore, all I can really do is post a really cheesy grad-esque song... two versions of it.

Graduation!

Yup, I'm technically a full on high school graduate now! Exciting, right? Sort of... except that it was surprisingly anti-climatic, and didn't feel particularly special or even that significant. But, I'm glad to have it done with at least, just to say that it is. At least it was mildly enjoyable, which was both a little surprising and kind of nice.

Aaaand, here's a catchy tune for your ears.

June 4th

It's rainy. Again. No sign of summer yet, despite the fact that school is just about over. Vancouver weather sucks. Also, with this nasty weather, I can't quite find it in me to take out my camera and go take pitchas. So here's yet another old photo:

just a little bit chill, and kind of nice

Time-Out.

No photo or music here, just two thoughts.

First on my mind today: grilled cheese makers.

Seriously. It's only in the past year or so that I have fully realized both the deliciousness of a grilled cheese sandwich and the fact that most people consider making one of these delicious sandwiches a bit of an annoying task. Until recently, I didn't even realize that a grilled cheese maker was NOT a typical kitchen appliance. I've had one for as long as I can remember, and they make delicious, delicious grilled cheesies. The fact that most people have never heard of these babies actually confuses me. For anyone reading who doesn't have one- they are THE best, go get one.

Second thought of the day: curly hair.

I, like so many other people, have curly hair, I always have. I like to wear it down.
And apparently,
people.
like.
to.
touch.
curls.
Unless you are fixing a runaway curl or taming a frizzy, do not do this without asking. It's kind of like someone coming up to you and going out of their way to make it look like you just walked through a windstorm. I don't see the appeal it "gently tousling" (see: violently ruffling) someones hair. Please show some restraint, for all the curly haired people out there :)

Egad, look at that hair.

P.S I am torn between being not-even-joking serious and seriously joking in regards to both of these thoughts. Your call as to which way to take it.
